Norah is a sweet 12 year old girl She is in Grade 4 at RHO Appleseed. Norah attended a school before coming to Appleseed, but she came to us with very few academic skills. Norah lives with her mother and 2 siblings. She has a little sister, Memory, who also attends RHO Appleseed.
    Norah's father died when she was 9 years old. Her mother works as a part time maid. Her mother does not make enough money each month to adequately care for the family. She is very happy that the girls are at Appleseed and get to have breakfast and lunch at least 5 days per week.
     Because of her sponsorship, Norah is assured a quality education which includes 2 meals per day and any needed medical care that may arise. She is a generally healthy and happy young lady. Upon sponsorship, she received her new school uniform and later was taken on a shopping trip to buy school shoes, pants and a shirt. We then went for ice cream and playtime. Norah loves to sing and is a member of the Appleseed Choir. 
     She is very grateful to her sponsor for caring about her and helping to provide her with an education.
