Timothy Nyerenda was born on December 12, 2004. He is 8 years old. Timmy and his mother live with his grandmother. Timmy's father died when he was a baby. Neither Timmy's mother or grandmother have jobs. He is in need of the basic items that most families in Bauleni need, food, clothes, shoes. Timmy likes to play football (soccer) he would like to have a soccer ball. When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, he replies, "a pilot."

Timmy went shopping last week with some other sponsored orphans. It was truly a great day! He had so much fun riding on the escalator! This was a totally new experience for him. After shopping for clothes and shoes, we went to a restaurant and had ice cream and played in the play room. Thank you, Kathie for your love and support of Timmy! 

We will be doing academic assessments this month and will send a report. If you would like to send Timmy a letter, via email,  we will print it and help him to respond. I'm know that he would be so happy to receive a letter!
